What is Payment Gateway
These days, I have to work on Payment Gateway Profile management in the Athiva project. I have to do some R&D on Payment Gateway. After some interesting R&D, I have now realized what is payment gateway and how its functioning. Here, I wanna share those knowledge with my readers.
So What is payment Gateway?
When ever you have an online payment issues, you need to have a relationship with a payment gateway. Thats mean if you wanna accept any online payments you need a
payment gateway to do further processing. What is payment gateway? In a single word, Payment Gateway is a service that authorizes and processes payments for online retailers in real-time.
The focused function of this payment gateway is equivalent to a physical POS (Point-of-sale). Payment gateways encrypt sensitive information, such as credit card numbers, to ensure that information passes securely between the customer and the merchant.

It's not true that Heidelpay only serves most European countries, you can accept credit cards worldwide with heidelpay. I know that because we're just about to sign with them :D
We are now developing IPS(Integrated Portal System) web project
and flash games.Main module in IPS is e-learning and flash games are also for e-learning.We want to sell our e-learning Topic via Paypal payment gateway.But I do not know how should and I start and Integrate.When I visited in paypal official website,I feel confusing.
